Sometime towards the end of last week, a glitch in a database was keeping the Website from generating Activation Keys.

The Activation Keys are generated when someone creates a new account.
If you tried to create an account over the Easter Holiday and couldn’t get in, your account should be fine now.

If you have problems with the login or anything else, please submit a support ticket at the Help Desk.

I made a couple of changes to the site over the weekend. One is noticable and the other is not.

The noticable change is the “Choose Your Color” block on the left of the main page.
You can change the look and color of the site between Blue and Green.

The change that isn’t noticable primarily concerns visitors to the website.

Visitors can no longer leave comments or posts on the website.

The only place I was having a real problem with spam was on the visitors forum.

Technorati index’s and tags the forum just like a Blog. The end result is that when the spam bots run around posting on Blogs, they also post on the Forum.

While I was locking visitor comments out of the Forum, I went ahead and locked it all down.
Visitors are still able to cast a vote in some areas.

I will be adding a FAQ section over the next few days. Be on the look out for it.
